Villas in Nice 2025/2026
Nice is the capital of the French Riviera and offers the perfect blend of culture, tempting cuisine and a mild Mediterranean climate. It may not be as glitzy as other Côte d'Azur hotspots (think St Tropez and Monaco, but is one of the liveliest cities along the coast. Much like La Croisette in Cannes, the palm-lined promenade adjacent to the Mediterranean shoreline is the main hub. Known as Promenade des Anglais, this five-mile stretch curves round the bay and is lined with shops, cafés and restaurants galore. From the promenade you can reach Castle Hill and enter the Old Town ‘Vieux Nice’ next to the Cours Salaya market, a kaleidoscope of delicious sights and smells.
Whether you're into baroque architecture or art history, you will be spoilt for choice during a villa holiday in Nice. Chagall and Matisse collections adorn many gallery walls and there are more than 15 museums in total. Most of Nice’s beaches are pebbly, so bring a cushion or settle into one of the famous blue chairs along the promenade to soak up the sun. For families travelling with young children, the beaches of Villefranche-sur-Mer offer soft sand and gentler coves. Our villas to rent are situated in these surrounding areas, all easily connected to Nice via the corniches. A few kilometres away is Villefranche-sur-Mer with its famous harbour, which winds its way towards the jutting, cinematic peninsula of St Jean Cap Ferrat, home to Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. Further east is the medieval town of Èze, with winding lanes dotted with galleries and shops and some of the best panoramas from Jardin Exotique d'Èze. Whichever area you choose for your villa holiday in Nice, rest assured they will exceed your expectations.
