Villa Azure is a brand new top quality Greek holiday villa situated just above the Ionian sea outside the popular holiday resort of Skala. Together with sister villa Cyan they hold a prime position below the coastal road with beautiful views out to sea and over the tiny fishing harbour immediately below. Spacious and light filled, no expense has been spared in the construction and equipping of this lovely house.

Comfortable and stylish furnishings as well as top quality beds and linens make for a pampered stay. The extensive pool terrace and grounds provide masses of room for sitting, sunbathing and dining alfresco.

Just a few minutes away is a local restaurant whilst the main beach at Skala and restaurants are just 1.3 kilometres away which can be accessed by foot as long as it isn’t too hot! By car it is less than 5 minutes to the resort centre. A small bay with rock bathing is accessible just 200 metres away from the villas, below the site of the ancient temple and tiny chapel just next to the villas. There are 8 steps down to the front door from the parking area but the owner has provided a ramp with hand rail for those who can’t manage the steps or just so that you can wheel your cases right to the door .

To access the villa there is a path which is 300cm wide along with 8 steps but there is also ramp access available. The front door has a width of 100cm and other doors that access the pool area are 100cm wide also. Paths from the villa to the pool area are 200cm wide, the grounds are flat and the pool has roman steps to enter. There are stairs from the lounge entrance down to the kitchen area and the outside terrace. The widest bedroom door on the ground floor is 80cm wide which is the twin room and the widest bathroom door on the ground floor is 75cm wide which is the shower room. Resort Description

At the very southernmost tip of Kefalonia island a popular beach resort has grown up around the charming village of Skala.

The main attraction of this area was the endless expanse of stunning sand beach, but the village centre – now offering a varied choice of tavernas, mini markets, shops and cafe’s has grown with the addition of some rather chic restaurants and bars along the beach front and several “boutique” hotels.

A walk up into the hills behind Skala brings you back to another era as you explore the ruins of the old village destroyed in the earthquake in the last century. Skala has become probably the most “sought after” holiday resort on Kefalonia in recent years – and it’s easy to see why.
