Katelios is a little gem of a resort almost at the southernmost point of Kefalonia island and just 5km from the better known resort of Skala.

Backed by mountains, this traditional fishing village which is still very much operational with the daily catch being brought into the tiny harbour each morning, is perfect for a lazy, laid back and relaxing holiday by the sea.

These are supplemented by a couple of minimarkets stocking the essentials you will require for a perfect holiday – and if you are looking for more vibrant nightlife, Skala is only a short drive away.

Just five minutes drive away one of the largest sandy beaches on the island, Mouda beach, or Turtle beach as it is often known, is waiting with its endless expanse of sand.
