If you’re wanting to escape the hustle and bustle, this charming Algarve retreat should be at the top of your bucket list. Follow the elegant driveway fenced by private gates, to your own private holiday bubble at Casa Serena. Located in Vale del Rei, just outside of Carvoeiro close to the Vale de Milho golf course. There’s a colourful buzz at the seafront, with rows of open-air cafes and restaurants serving up the best of the local cuisine. The best part? It has to be the glorious grounds, with a vast stone terrace fringed by palm trees and lush greenery. Embrace the exotic setting by heading to the inner courtyard, where you can unwind with a glass of bubbly in the crisp, fresh air. Soak up the serene rural setting on a sun lounger, unwind on the sofa under the veranda, or escape the Portuguese heat by diving into the sparkling swimming pool. With such an incredible outdoor space, dinners are best served alfresco on the dining terrace.
Sunlight pours through the large patio doors and picture-frame windows, which bring the outside in, making each room feel bright and spacious. To access the villa there is a path which is 300cm wide, along with a single step. The width of the front door is 66cm wide, whilst the other external door is 116cm wide. The pool requires step access, whilst the terrace is tiled, along with a single step leading from the dining area to the pool. In total, there are a small number of steps required to reach certain parts of the garden. These can be seen in the images. All three ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms have a door width of 64cm. The width of the kitchen door is 72cm, whilst the living room door is 94cm wide. There are 17 steps to the first floor, where bedroom 4 has a door width of 64cm. This villa is in the countryside and car recommended.
