Green List Countries for Travel
The world is opening! Dig out your passport and get ready for that long-awaited, much-needed escape you deserve because… holidays are back! We are thrilled that non-essential international travel returns from Monday 17 May, with a traffic light system highlighting the green list countries that require a quarantine-free return to the UK.
So many of us will be looking forward to a change of scene and being reunited with our families and friends. Demand for villa holidays in these destinations is set to surge over the coming weeks, so be sure to beat the rush and get the best.
Which Countries are on the Green List?
Green List Country Requirements
Anyone travelling to a green list country will be required to take one test before departure, and one PCR test on or before day two of arrival in England/Wales. No quarantine will be required unless the test is positive. Unlike last year, more notice will be given when a destination is likely to change colour and ministers remain hopeful most European countries will be open to green list travel by the end of June. For more information, please follow the official FCDO advice.
